As the Internal Communications manager for the United-Kingdom and Ireland region, you will be leading the development and implementation of internal communications strategies, supervising content creation, ensuring outcomes are delivered efficiently, creatively and to a consistent high standard of quality. You will also be responsible for the line management and professional development of a team of internal communications specialists.

How will you contribute to the team?
- Provide insight and counsel to senior management and other business stakeholders in relation to complex internal communications matters.
- Work alongside your Global Communications & Marketing colleagues to plan, execute and measure integrated internal communications strategies and activities related to the overall company strategy.
- Lead the creation and deployment of internal communications and employee engagement initiatives on our internal channels, including content creations, newsletters, videos, webcasts, internal events, etc.
- Increase visibility and internal understanding of our internal programs, our employees focused initiatives and our company performance to foster engagement, belonging, ownership and well-being.
- Ensure good communication cascade of global topics in the region through customization.
- Drive executive communications and employee events.
- Set internal communications standards and ensure consistent and efficient use of practices, processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Demonstrate agility to tackle business priorities. Line manage and develop team members.
- Participate in building internal communications processes and capabilities with other members of the internal communications leadership team.
- Be a trailblazer by staying up to date on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field. Relevant years of experience in communication advisory, including experience in a management role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to develop strong relationships and advise internal stakeholders on communications best practices.
- Demonstrate analytical skills and pro-activity to identify and manage priorities and communication opportunities.
- Experience leading change communications and advising others on how to do this effectively.
- Exceptional project management and prioritization skills, as well as ability to meet deadlines.
- Team player with proven ability to reconcile a variety of perspectives and inputs.
- Experience creating/editing impactful content for a range of online and offline internal communications channels.
- A strong understanding of how to build and measure an effective internal communications channel mix.
- Experience leading the planning and delivery of internal events. Ability to think outside the box, try new things and constantly look for better and bolder ways to get information out.
- Confidence to work with and advise stakeholders at all levels and in all types of roles, experience working with executives and senior management will be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with the engineering sector will be considered a plus.
