Holtec Britain seeks qualified applicants for a position of Project Manager in its Project Management department based at the Holtec Britain office in Bristol, UK. This department is responsible for delivery of large infrastructure and capital equipment supply projects including Holtec’s Small Modular Reactor SMR-300. The role involves managing scope, schedule, cost, risks, interfaces, earned value and stakeholder engagement across the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with programme governance and regulatory expectations. The Project Manager will be accountable for delivery of assigned project scope in line with approved execution plans and programme objectives.
The Project Manager shall ensure that project reporting, documentation, and governance processes are maintained to a high standard, while monitoring progress to identify issues early, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain delivery confidence. The Company uses customised software for project management and techniques including Primavera, MS Project, Earned Value Management.
Minimum Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects, ideally in nuclear, energy, or regulated infrastructure with diverse teams from multiple companies and locations..
- Proficiency with structured project controls, reporting, risk management, and interface coordination.
Desirable Additional Qualifications:A professional project management certification (e.g. the APM PMQ).
