We are looking for a Facilities and Office Services Manager to join our Cambridge, ON team, with responsibilities across multiple BWXT sites. You will lead initiatives to ensure efficient and safe operations while managing facility projects, maintenance, and contractor partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Maintenance & Infrastructure:
- Primary contact for site maintenance with landlords and project coordination.
- Identify investment needs for infrastructure improvements and sustainability.
- Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical system maintenance.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize efficiency.
Project Management:
- Lead facility projects, including renovations and large-scale maintenance.
- Support major projects at other BWXT locations, preparing capital expenditure justifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies for facility re-arrangements.
Office Services & Vendor Management:
- Oversee office services, mailroom operations, and building upkeep.
- Manage contractors for cleaning, security, and site maintenance.
- Ensure vendor contracts comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage operating budgets for multiple cost centers.
- Track expenses, forecast revenue, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
- Respond to production and EHS concerns, leading troubleshooting efforts.
Qualifications:

3-5 years of management experience, including overseeing contractors and staff.

Post-secondary education in a relevant technical, commercial, or industrial field.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.

Knowledge of HVAC, construction, electrical systems, and facility management.

Experience managing continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with building codes, fire safety systems, and relevant regulations.

Proven ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The base salary range for this position in [[Ontario]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[107,000]] and $[[157,000]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
