The Role
Cameco’s business technology services (BTS) department provides vital services to world-wide operations utilizing a variety of technologies. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self starter, willing to learn team-player to support Cameco’s robotic process automation (RPA) initiatives. This is a great opportunity to work with a new generation technology and to interact with a wide variety of Cameco business units. This is an entry-level position where you can grow your career in an exciting, new area of technology.
In this role, you will:
- as part of the RPA team work with various business units in the identification, design, development, and implementation of IA solutions.
- use technology platforms such UIPath and Celonis to address challenges and develop value-add automations. translate business needs to technical solutions while applying best practices in IT security, governance and change management.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
- Up to three years of related work experience
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- Strong business analysis and communication skills
Recommended:
- Experience using automation RPA tools like UiPath
- Scripting experience with PowerShell and Python
- Experience with Process Mining and or process discovery tools
- Hands-on experience with OCR and AI tools
