THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Technical Service Coordinator, the Temporary Field Supervisor shall provide supervision and technical
support for the decommissioning of Denison’s Feasibility Field Test.Primary responsibilities shall include organizing work
activities of staff, supporting the multidisciplinary technical activities occurring on the Wheeler River Site through the safe
operation of field test equipment, coordination of data collection, completion of sample analysis, and collaborating with the
various Denison teams to solve site or project technical issues within this temporary fixed term assignment.

You have a background of relevant skills and previous supervisory experience acquired from previous field experience working
in remote locations. You bring a strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, willingness to learn and be trained, and a
commitment to safety and safe work practices at all times. Additional qualifications and attributes include:
- 3 years of similarly relevant work experience (e.g., remote field work, mining industry) is required; experience in the
uranium industry is considered an asset.
- Minimum Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience as a process operator, process technician, or similar capacity within plant
operations, previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience operating variety of heavy mobile equipment is required, including but not limited to Skid
Steer, Telehandler, and Aerial Work Platforms; candidates already licensed in this equipment are strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO), GHS/WHMIS, transportation of
dangerous goods (TDG), confined space, and mobile equipment with the willingness to be trained and certified.
- Capable of performing various field tests and willing to learn field test procedures as required.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully follow instructions and directions and execute tasks safely and accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with all levels of staff, contractors, and vendors in order to perform
tasks, share information, and achieve goals.
- Possession of a Class 5 Drivers’ License that is valid and in good standing, and the willingness to operate vehicles
in remote areas.
- Experience driving an ATV is an asset.
- Certified in First Aid strongly preferred.
- Computer proficiency to complete data-entry type tasks is required; Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and
Excel is preferred.
- Solid communication skills are required to articulate, convey, clarify and report information and progress updates to
others.
- Willingness and ability to carryout work tasks and duties outdoors, lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, and with varying
hours of work (up to 11 hours per day).
- Ability to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and assigned; CSA approved steel toe
boots are mandatory.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct daily lineup meetings, pre-use inspections, facilitate on-the-job training, and supervising the safety of
activities carried out by Denison staff and contractor field staff.
- Operate field processing equipment including but not limited to start-up/shut-down sequences, pumps, valves,
process tanks, and control systems.
- Monitor standard operating conditions such as field alarms, set-point adjustments, operating parameters,
troubleshooting issues promptly and making adjustments to ensure stable operations, or requesting support from
the Supervisor if necessary.
- Collect process samples, prepare samples for shipment, perform basic field analysis (i.e. pH/ORP/Conductivity/SG)
on samples.
