Position and Responsibilities
As a member of the SHEQ department, you will report to the sr. coordinator, fire protection & security. You will be responsible for general office administration and support of fire protection & security personnel, managing PHCF & CFM access systems for employees and contractors, maintenance of Cameco’s radio system program and software, maintenance of RAVE Alert (emergency communication system) and issuing facility access security clearances. Additional duties will include issuing regulatory reports for security health & safety records, upkeep of the department manuals and coordination of on-boarding.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- Business or administrative certificate or diploma
- Three to five years of relevant work experience
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, build trust and maintain positive relationships with a wide variety of personnel
