We are seeking a Project Quality Manager (PQM) to support the Gas Services North America (GS NA) Quality Management function located in Pickering, Ontario. PQM will report in functional matters to the Project Director and be the management rep for Head of Quality Gas Services North America. The individual will provide leadership to project team and consortium partners regarding project quality deliverables in compliance with CSA N299, N286 and other CSA standards. PQM is expected to actively engage in the project meetings/reviews, customer meetings, assignment of tasks, and performance reviews for project quality team. The role is expected to lead development and implementation of Project Quality Plans, collaborate with different stake holders with a focus on implementing an effective project quality program, risk mitigation strategies, Non-conformance (NC) and Corrective Action Program (CAP) reduction plans and ensure customer satisfaction. This role also provides autonomy and growth opportunities in a multitude of areas to foster a variety of work experiences.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide leadership to the Project quality team by establish processes to a) analyze and monitor fulfillment of contractual requirements b) management of stakeholder feedback c) support with risk mitigation and non-conforming outcomes.
- Develop quality plans in line with CSA N299, N286 standards and support Project Director in independent assessment of project quality, peer review of project deliverables.
- Analyze project performance to guide decisions. Lead discussions to ensure risk assessments and mitigations are effectively implemented.
- Assess contract deviations and nonconformance events, lead problem solving efforts, facilitate cross functional reviews and customer engagement to ensure adequate resolutions.
- Develop oversight plans for consortium partners, internal stake holders. Support in the management of customer witness points, quality dossier and other contractual obligations.
- Support efforts to maintain project KPIs and drive compliance to internal regulations and milestones ex project handovers, risk and readiness reviews, lessons learned efforts.
- Manage internal/external/3rd party audits and corrective actions against applicable standards. Ensure customer approved supplier status is maintained.
- Hire project quality professional, manage their assignments and performance during project lifecycle.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) or higher, preferably in an Engineering discipline, Business, or related field.
- 10 or more years of combined experience in one or more of the following – Quality Management, Project Quality.
- Good understanding of Canadian Nuclear standards.
- Proficient communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to develop thoughtful communication plans, employing multiple channels, or indirect approaches, such as influencing others, to align groups or organizations.
- Strong analytical, facilitation and presentation skills with emphasis on proven use of RCA tools. Ability to drive collaboration to produce effective results.
- Professional knowledge and experience related to Quality Standards CSA N299, N285, N286, ISO 9001.
- High level of proficiency quality data and analysis. Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Travel 20%.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in Canada without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Quality Management team is part of EQS group and leads in development and maintenance of quality program and system to meet and exceed international quality standards and internal governance requirements. The GS NA QM team is based out of Orlando Florida and Oakville Ontario and supports Service Operations, Project Management and Sales and Marketing among other business functions.
