What will you be doing!
- Leading and/or assisting with process methodology reviews, self-assessments, effectiveness reviews, apparent cause analyses, corrective actions, and related improvement plans.
- Facilitating and leading change using an established change management process; continuously evaluating multi-layered procedures, tools, templates within the Supply Chain organization and providing/action recommendations for more effective business practices.
- Drafting, reviewing, and updating Supply Chain procedures in accordance with CNL Management System and Information Management requirements.
- Acting as a single point of contact for general supply chain communications.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for process alignment with other CNL programs to maximize efficiencies.
- Taking responsibility for the oversight regarding the capability assessment, the development of the training program/plan, and the continuous update of the training program for the Supply Chain team.
- Providing training assistance and/or consultation services to client departments on new initiatives and general process support.
- Providing support and guidance with respect to supply chain compliance during internal and external audits.
- Providing key subject matter expert support to Supply Chain team in the engagement / utilization of new tools within the Supply Chain team.
- Providing support and guidance for compliance with subjects related to the Site Operating Company Agreement (SOCA).
- Drafting and updating reports in compliance with the Supply Chain reporting needs.
- Providing program support as delegated by the Manager, Supply Chain.
- Identifying and recommending improvements to moderately complex processes that affect own area and others/clients; implementing improvements to processes in own area and related areas/working with clients to implement.
- Encouraging/supporting innovation among others, extending to related areas.
- Providing input on corporate-scale change.
- Additionally, the role will require extensive cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
- University degree in Business or Technical related field with 7 years' experience, or 3 year college diploma combined with 10 years business experience preferably in a highly regulated environment, pertinent to leading and/or assisting with the development and implementation of a broad range of processes and improvement initiatives.
- Preference will be given to those with contract / supply chain management experience, working within a highly regulated industry with strong technical and quality assurance program knowledge, and/or continuous business improvement methodologies.
- Superior planning and organization skills.
- Ability to be involved in a range of activities, from routine functions to complex assignments requiring initiative, and the competence to prioritize effectively within a dynamic work environment.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and interpersonal skills to develop effective working relationships with staff and vendors.
- Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Broad understanding of the programs and standards that govern activities at CNL, and a strong commitment to customer service.
- Working knowledge of CNL's organizational structure, work processes and technology.
- Experience with requirements gathering and process mapping.
- Knowledge and understanding of quality program requirements e.g. ISO 9001, CSA N286, & NQA-1.
- Experience in contract management, project management and training would be considered an asset.
- Ability to work across all levels across the organization
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications; Visio experience would be an asset.
Security clearance eligibility required: Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and/or the United Kingdom.

Location:
CNL works with employees across Canada to enable a remote workforce where possible. Our Work from Home employees are provided with the equipment required to be successful: laptop, monitor, external etc. Of course, we always love a visit to site when possible!
