Rabbit Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, has produced over 200 million pounds of uranium concentrate since its inception. The uranium mined and milled at Rabbit Lake has been used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. The Role
Reporting to the services supervisor, you will be responsible for general labor duties and operating a variety of mobile equipment to maintain the site facilities, roads, and airport in a safe, sustainable, and environmentally effective manner.
In this role, you will:
- Bus and luggage services
- Site road maintenance (snow clearing and sanding)
- Airport runway and apron maintenance
- Vacuum truck waste disposal
- Water truck service
- Within this role you will be expected to be part of the site ermergency response and mine rescue team. As member of the team, you will receive emergecny response and mine rescue training to support safe and effective response in the event of an emergency on site, including both surface and underground fire and rescue situations. You will be required to participate in first aid, fire, and other emergency response exercise and scenarios. Participation will be subject to successful completion of both physical condition and medical testing.
Required:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of relevant work experience
- Experience on dozer, grader, 966 and 988 loaders, track hoe, scraper, vacuum truck and 50-ton rock truck
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- Must hold a valid Class 2 driver’s license
- Must have completed SAT equipment training modules
- Ability and willingness to perform manual labour as required for this position
- Excellent reading, writing and communication skills are essential
- Mechanically inclined (knowledge of equipment and hand tools)
- Safety-oriented team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be proficient with using computers, including the Microsoft Office suite and mobile technology
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Asset:
- Class 3A or 1A driver’s license
- Tandem vacuum and water truck experience
- Passenger bus experience

The Rabbit Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
