Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. The Role

You will have the opportunity to work remote in this position. However, there may be the need for intermittent meetings in the Saskatoon office/travel to site. The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for the development and execution of a strategic vendor management plan for Cameco's vendor base.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will identify business requirements for vendor management and conduct on-going monitoring, analysis and performance management to ensure compliance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and make updates to vendor scorecards and other tools to enhance vendor tracking and performance.
- Be responsible for ensuring vendor data is maintained and up to date and provide support for individual contractor data management. Responsible for overseeing the management of vendors within ISNetworld, ensuring compliance to safety, quality, and financial requirements and addressing non-conformances.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree within a related field (business, commerce, supply chain management)
- Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in supply chain management, vendor management and/or procurement
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
- Superior negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills, with proficient ability to prioritize workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills maintaining a variety of communication channels to support stakeholders
- High level of computer proficiency, specifically with MS Office and ERP/MRP software
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and work with all levels in the organization Excellent organizational and change management skills
Recommended:
- SCMP or CPSM designation
- Formal training in Lean Six Sigma

Salary Range: $95,000 - $118,700
