Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. The Role
Cameco has an exciting opportunity to join the supply chain management (SCM) team in a key administrative support role. As a team player you will support the various functions in the group including procurement, SCM governance and integration, logistics and facilities.
You will support others in the department as required and could be utilized as a resource for projects and new department initiatives with increasing responsibility.
In this role, you will:
- Complete activities such as reporting, data entry, document creation/management, filing, arranging meetings, arranging travel as well as other general administrative duties
- Be responsible for department SAP support which includes processing requisitions, reconciliation of invoices, budget support, and reporting.
- Support others in the department as required and could be utilized as a resource for projects and new department initiatives with increasing responsibility.
- Coordinate and lead department events. Supervise Junior Admin and coordinate with team admins on tasks and projects daily or weekly.
Required:
- Business or administrative diploma
- Five to seven years of relevant office experience
- Ability to engage and build relationships with various stakeholders in a large diverse team
- Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently at all levels of the organizations in both written and verbal form
- Proficiency in the use of SharePoint, SAP, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
