Administrative & Project Support, SHER
(Saskatoon)
Reporting to the Vice President, Safety, Health, Environment and Regulatory, the Administrative & Project Support, SHER will provide administrative and project support across various safety, health, environment and regulatory (SHER) projects and initiatives at Orano Canada. This role will serve as the systematic backbone of the SHER team, ensuring effective document and records control, financial compliance, data integrity, schedule compliance and process governance across multiple concurrent projects.
The ideal candidate thrives on bringing structure to complex environments, managing detailed file structures, and maintaining accurate project accounting and controls. What you’ll accomplish:
Reporting & Data Management
- Maintain project schedules, trackers, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual project and departmental reports
- Maintain accurate project records and organize project information
- Take meeting minutes, distribute action items, and maintain action logs
- Compile and analyze data to support reporting, trend analysis, and decision-making
Logistics & Administrative Support
- Coordinate travel, accommodations, rentals, site access, and logistical arrangements
- Order, receive, track, and distribute field and office supplies
- Maintain calendars, schedules, distribution lists, and tracking tools
- Schedule meetings and facilities, prepare materials and distribute meeting information
Document Control & Records Management
- Manage project and departmental documents in accordance with regulatory, corporate, and project requirements
- Prepare, format, proofread, and distribute reports, regulatory correspondence, technical documents, and meeting materials
- Set up and maintain folder structures in SharePoint and network drives, document registers, and version control
- File, track, archive, and retrieve project records and documentation
- Maintain document numbering, naming, retention, and filing standards
- Maintain management system procedures, forms, templates, and supporting documents
- Compile information from multiple sources to prepare draft documents, reports, presentations, and submissions
- Track document review cycles and ensure approved documents are properly issued and filed
Financial & Contract Administration
- Create purchase requisitions and monitor purchase orders for contractors, consultants, and vendors
- Update budget tracking spreadsheets and assist with expenditure reporting
- Maintain contractor compliance and onboarding records including training, testing, emergency response plans, and ISNetworld requirements
- Track contractor deliverables, commitments, and milestones
Department Administration
- Assist with the coordination of meetings, workshops, training, and company events
- Coordinate document reviews, approvals, consolidations, and final submissions for regulatory requirements
- Communicate with employees, contractors, consultants, and regulators to obtain, distribute, and track required information
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and skills we’re seeking:
· Office Administration Certificate or Diploma
· 3-7 years’ previous experience in an administrative role and understanding of project management principles
· Functional user of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
· Experience in SAP is an asset
· Aptitude for data management and efficient use of AI
· Open to learning and takes initiative
· A team player with a natural ability to develop positive working relationships and work closely and effectively with all team members
· Ability to co-ordinate activities, information and materials to meet tight deadlines and work under time pressure
· Excellent analytical skills to problem solve, plan and organize competing deadlines effectively
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with multiple stakeholders
· Ability to excel in a multi-disciplined team environment
Work Location & Travel:
· Saskatoon Corporate Office
· Regular travel for short periods of time to operational or development sites is required

Salary Range: $66,750 - $78,500
Compensation to be determined based on the selected candidate’s level of skill, education, and experience, and may vary within the posted salary range.
As a condition of employment the successful candidate must complete Orano’s pre-employment checks including education verification and employment reference checks.
