What is the Opportunity?
Aecon is seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist to join our team supporting the John Hart Dam seismic upgrade in Campbell River, British Columbia. Based at the project site office, this is an opportunity to play a key role in project controls while contributing to a significant hydroelectric infrastructure project on Vancouver Island.

The current John Hart Dam seismic upgrade is focused on strengthening the existing dam to improve its seismic resiliency. The project includes major civil works such as expanding the dam base with rock berms, constructing an underground concrete seepage barrier, developing a new overflow spillway, and anchoring the structure.
Located in Campbell River, the role offers the opportunity to work on a distinctive civil and hydroelectric project while enjoying a coastal Vancouver Island community with access to lakes, ocean, mountains, trails, and outdoor recreation. Relocation candidates will be considered.
