This role will be based in Mississauga, ON.
Your role within the team:
- Organize & maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies.

The ideal candidate:
- Electrical Technologist or Computer Technologist Diploma (3 years) and five to seven (5-7) years of progressively responsible related experience in installation, maintenance, and calibration of industrial electric or pneumatic electronic control systems; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Analytical problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with the Design & Development section of ISO 9001 standards.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of established engineering design principles and methods.
- Knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP, UDP) and firewalls.
- Cisco qualifications is encouraged but not mandatory.
- Considerable knowledge of: instrumentation and control technology; installation and calibration of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation; computer maintenance and troubleshooting; computer networks maintenance and troubleshooting; network switch configuration and troubleshooting; installation, maintenance and operation of PLC systems; electrical wiring; programming PLC’s; LabVIEW.
- Working knowledge of: computer systems and networks; computer interfacing equipment; general process control loops; occupational hazards and appropriate safety precautions in working around electrical equipment, wiring and devices; practices, methods, materials and tools of the instrumentation technology and mechanical trades.
- Some knowledge of: pulse counters, frequency generators, and oscilloscopes.
- Ability to: maintain equipment in good repair and calibration; locate, define and repair defects in instrumentation loops, and equipment; layout, install, alter, repair, and maintain a variety of instrumentation systems and equipment; interpret and work from technical sketches, schematics, and blueprints; setup, troubleshoot and maintain computer control systems; create and maintain PLC programs (IEC61131-3) and software developed in LabVIEW; document work and maintain quality records; prepare and submit clear and concise reports; maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills, efficient and effective communication (written and oral) and organization skills are essential. Must be “Team” Oriented with a demonstrated ability to work well with others and promote a positive work environment.
