JOB OPPORTUNITY: OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Job Summary
Performs and maintains administrative tasks in support of departments within the Burlington facility. The ideal candidate for the role is a flexible problem-solver who has excellent organization, communications skills and a detail-oriented mindset. Effective multitasking and an ability to manage competing demands while maintaining a customer focus approach to their daily activities.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities throughout the facility to ensure efficiency and maintain compliance with company policies.
- Welcomes visitors to the facility and supports in their orientation of the facility where necessary.
- Manages emails, letters, packages, phone calls and other forms of correspondence.
- Support in facilitating employee appreciation events and social committee activities.
- Track and replace office supplies as necessary.
- Data entry, consolidation and analytics of labour hours and parts in ERP Software SAP and AS400, used to report on Operations and Financial metrics.
- Support logistics department in scheduling shipments of orders and parts throughout organization and to customers.
- Manage company facilities, including space planning/design, vendor contracts and relations, event planning and coordination of office functions and services etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional data management skills are required to ensure timely and efficient data analysis and SAP data administration updates for sustained continual periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills are a must with a strong reliance on efficient use of EXCEL to aid data analysis.
- Proficient use of ERP software SAP and AS400.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
- An active and valuable team participant who puts the Team success before individual success.
Education and Experience
- A minimum of three years’ experience in an office setting performing in an administrative role.
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TEAMs etc.
- Bachelors or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
