About your next Challenge as a Quality Assurance Specialist:
What will you do:
- Review documentation to ensure adherence to the required standards;
- Assists in or conduct audits on internal business streams to ensure product conformance with quality requirements and business’s established procedures;
- Support customer QA audits as required;
- Advise personnel within the company on matters concerning quality assurance, codes, standards, and programs;
- Maintain quality assurance in accordance with established guidelines and standards;
- Ensure timely and orderly completion of audits and reports as required by the business;
- Respond to customer issues, inquiries and audit requirements with appropriate sense of urgency and business criticality;
- Coordinates with others to ensure any actions emanating from the audits (both internal and external) are addressed and closed in a timely manner;
- Notify management of quality/compliance trends and service failures;
- Prepare quality non-conformance reports and assign personnel to address them;
- Assist in changes to operating procedures, policies, training materials, and other documents as required by the business
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 1-3+ years of experience working in a related capacity or an equivalent combination of education and related experience;
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Organizational skills, and cross-group work experience
- Good MS office skills Excel, Word, Outlook;Knowledge of ISO 9001, Military or Nuclear industry
- quality standards are considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is an asset;
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).For on-site positions, our location not accessible by public transport, car/carpooling required.
