Position and Responsibilities
As a member of the maintenance team, your primary responsibilities include install, examine, troubleshoot, replace or repair electrical components, transmitters, industrial control systems and instrument devices, read and interpret blueprints, drawings, loop sheets and specifications. You must demonstrate a strong ability to plan and organize job tasks ensuring that all work is performed safely, efficiently, in compliance with procedure and that proper and complete documentation is maintained. You will join a team of composed of different trades supporting our 24/7 uranium production facility trained in emergency response (Emergency Response Team – ERT). This is a 12-hour continental shift position.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $45.48 along with competitive benefits and retirement savings. Upon completion of all training, the rate increases to $50.55.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- Certification as an industrial electrician
- Instrumentation License or electrical/electronic technologist/technician diploma or demonstrated experience with instrumentation and controls
- Strong trouble shooting skills
- Must achieve NFPA 600 and 472 certification
- Self-starter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Clear background check
