Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for civil and structural design work, including Working knowledge in ASME Section III (Rules for Construction of Nuclear Facility Components - Division 5, High Temperature Reactors), Section VIII (Standards BPVC Section VIII-Rules for Construction of Pressure Vessels), ASME B31.1 (The Power Piping Code). Working knowledge in CSA N285.0 (General requirements for pressure-retaining systems and components in CANDU nuclear power plants/Material Standards for reactor components for CANDU nuclear power plants), CSA N287 series (General requirements for concrete containment structures for nuclear power plants), CSA N289 series (general requirements for seismic hazard evaluation, seismic design, qualification, evaluation, and testing and monitoring), and CSA N291 (Requirements for nuclear safety-related structures). Previous experience with preparation of technical documents such as: Engineering Evaluations, Task Definition Specifications, Technical Specifications, Design Plans, Technical reviews of vendor design packages (including the calculations and drawings), Working knowledge in welding and NDE. Strong communication & problem-solving skills, Familiar with Bruce Power ECC process, and Maximo usage, in General, Maximo enhances asset visibility, streamlines maintenance processes, and contributes to overall operational excellence. Working knowledge of ASME B30-series and associated standards, CMAA (Crane Manufacturing Association of America) Standards, CSA B167.16 (Overhead cranes, gantry cranes, monorails, hoists, and jib cranes), ASME BTH-1 (Design of Below the Hook lifting devices). Working knowledge of CSA S16, and the CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) codes. A progressive experience and resulting knowledge of applying 9 Project Management Areas including (Scope, Cost, Time, QA, Communications, Human Resources, Risk, Procurement, and Integration) to projects.
