You will achieve this by performing, and overseeing the technical work of others performing, the following core activities:
- Plan and undertake all required process engineering design activities for the active projects. Activities will vary depending on project scope but will include such things as thermal-hydraulic evaluations, selection and/or design of process equipment (mechanical and related process controls), process modelling and optimization, coordination of design with other interfacing disciplines.
- Provide design solutions and assessments for new, updated and modified process systems, structures and components.
- Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs, ensuring timely preparation of deliverables for each stage, such as requirements elicitation and management, development of composite 3D models with other disciplines, capturing analysis results, develop technical specifications, and contribute to project and asset information definition and capture.
- Prepare and review engineering design calculations, design documents, 3D models, and engineering packages as required for each project scope.
- Determine operating parameters to ensure safe and sustainable process systems that have optimized production.
