Cigar Lake
Cigar Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s highest-grade uranium mine. The uranium produced at Cigar Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.
The Role
As part of the Cigar Lake administration team, you will be responsible for daily time sheet entry, contractor data management, and air traffic administrative duties. In addition, you will provide clerical support, maintain employee information, and provide work schedules as required.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain current flight manifests
- Coordinate air charters
- Ensure accurate site travel planning for employees and contractors
- Prepare accurate reports and correspondence Provide administrative support to other departments as required
Required:
- Air radio license
- Minimum 2-3 years of office administration experience
- Superior organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
- Applicants with less than the listed qualifications may be considered at an appropriate level
Recommended:
- Business administration certificate
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP software

Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North (RSN).
The Cigar Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
