We’re on the hunt for a motivated and talented Engineering Student in our EGSE and Test Data Processing department at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office. This is a 4 months mandate (with a possibility of 8 months) starting in May 2026.
Overall, the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.
The successful candidate will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to develop state-of-the-art spacecraft electronic equipment, DC power supplies and associated regulator circuitry using PCB technology. Contribute into the designs while supporting documentation such as some analysis, parts lists, schematics, assembly drawings and test procedures.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be involved with the design team regarding various related tasks such as:
- Design of test stations and test quipment for power converters;
- Preparation of conceptual drawings;
- Design simulations (LTSpice or PSpice);
- Creation of electrical diagrams and PCBs;
- Material lists and assembly drawings;
- Manufacturing support for electrical assembly and testing activities.
- Support for test documentation such as writing test procedures, user manuals and other test-related documents
Experience and skills required:
- Candidates should demonstrate some electronic design activity, academic only is fine and a willingness to learn;
- Strong teamwork capabilities, along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
