Purpose of the role
Are you an Asset management practitioner looking for the next challenge in your career? In this role you'll bring your understanding, expertise and experience to bear on infrastructure asset management solutions, working with clients on everything from helping them identify and establish strategies and develop asset management plans, day to day asset management challenges and working to develop and deliver continuous improvement that meets their needs and aspirations.
You'll work collaboratively with clients and colleagues to meet the challenges of today, tomorrow and beyond.
We love different – be it your experience in asset management, operational management, client advisory or management, relevant engineers, and everything in between, we encourage applications from individuals who feel passionate about the future of infrastructure. With a knowledge or interest in the engineering, Utilities or Aviation sector, we are looking for diverse individuals who understand the complex, interlinking elements and the strategic and tactical approaches required that will enable you to assess and deliver solutions across the whole asset management lifecycle.
Your role
- Use you experience to bring asset management to life.
- Be able to confidently bring your experience and understanding to help with one or more of the following.
- Development of strategic documents to drive an organisations Asset Management approach forward.
- Building asset management plans that manage risk and cost across their asset's lifecycle.
- Driving asset performance by blending operational activity with the structuring, collection and use of data.
- Building a compelling narrative or business case for investment in assets or in an Asset Management System.
- Enabling clients to see how the maintenance and operational approach to an asset can affect its efficiency, cost and performance and helping them implement change in this space.
- Working to help shape and manage change activity in organisations looking to improve their Asset Management Maturity and work to ISO 55000 standards.
- Able to diagnose Asset Management issues and work with clients to put systems, processes or capability in place to tackle those issues.
About you
- We are looking for candidates with a range of asset management experience in general infrastructure with experience in water or aviation sectors desirable.
- Your AM experience can be specific to one part of asset management or more generalist across asset management. Salary will be scaled based on experience.
- Experience and familiarity of applying Asset Management Standards to real life situations and helping organisations to evolve their Asset Management approach.
- Ability to travel and be seconded to a client within the UK, typically at the client offices 2 to 3 days a week.
- The confidence and capability to communicate and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues to land asset management concepts or apply problem solving techniques to Asset Management scenarios.
- Driven to pursue your growth and development in asset management and connect with wider internal and external industry community.
- Strong communication, influencing and IT skills.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Full clean driving licence.
- IAM qualifications are preferable.

Security clearance
