Overview
The FP&A Manager will serve as the Finance Business Partner for our Travel & Procurement team. Based in Montreal, Quebec, this role is within a dynamic and complex multinational public company. The selected individual will act as a strategic advisor, providing insightful financial analysis and advice to support commercial decision-making and drive business performance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally and influencing key business decisions through financial insights.
Your role
- Data Gathering & Processing: Collect, process, and analyze data related to procurement and travel activities to identify trends, patterns & opportunities for cost savings. Develop and maintain databases and systems for efficient data management.
- Analysis & Insight: Provide analysis and deliver insights that link business practices and financial & procurement performance.
- Category Management: Develop and implement category management strategies based on spend analysis to optimize procurement processes and supplier consolidation.
- Reporting & Presentation: Produce clear, concise, and compelling reports and presentations (including quarterly business review) to senior management and other stakeholders, summarizing financial insights, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations.
- Decision Support: Act as a financial advisor, offering general financial support to senior management, identify and recommend cost-saving initiatives and process improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Project Management: Undertake project-based work for specific business initiatives, monitoring progress and performance.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues throughout the organization.
About you
- Education: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fields.
- Certifications: Professional designation such as CPA, CMA, or CGA.
- Experience: More than 5 years of experience in financial or business analysis.
- Language Skills: Fluent in French and English (written and spoken). *

* Member of the Canadian or Global Leadership Team: This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian or global leadership team located outside Québec.
