The Job Clock and Timesheet Administrator is located in Pickering, with presence at both (office and site). Job Clock and Timesheet Administrator receives all timesheets, reconciles against the customer’s job clock system, investigates variances, project level discrepancies, and creates exception reports. This role is critical to ensuring accurate payroll, cost allocation, and compliance for unionized construction projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare daily job clock to timesheet reconciliations
- Create exception reports for time reconciliation issues
- Investigate and resolve weekly client exception report lists
- Combine daily timesheets, review for errors and upload to ERP
- Prepare travel and board payments for trade employees
- Communicate relevant information to site supervision
- Other duties as required within the scope of timekeeping and finance administration

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- A College diploma/University graduate in business, administration, or accounting is preferred; strong new graduates with relevant education will be considered
- Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation is an asset
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of administrative, document control, payroll or timekeeping experience
- Experience working in spreadsheets of medium complexity
- Knowledge of time entry and payroll processes is a strong asset
- Experience in nuclear or large industrial construction industry preferred
- Familiarity of trade agreements and working with unionized employees

COMPENSATION
The expected salary range for this role is between $50,000/annually and $65,000/annually. The starting salary will be based on several factors such as the successful candidate’s qualifications, including but not limited to education, experience and overall competencies. Salary is one component of Black & McDonald’s total rewards package. Total rewards vary by position and may include additional offerings such as group insurance benefits, pension plan, annual performance bonus, and career development programs.
