We are looking for an AIT Project Manager to join our satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

Responsibilities:
Reviews requests from AIT managers, implements and assists in planning the resources needed to manage the line or program.
Assists AIT managers with budget management and develops or improves financial management tools
Prepares detailed schedules to track program progress on a daily basis, conducts frequent and regular assessments of costs to date and remaining estimates, and develops contingency plans as needed to meet cost and schedule objectives.
Identifies and manages risks and opportunities related to the program or integration line.
Monitors progress on integration and continuous improvement projects.
Assists AIT managers in ensuring station readiness.
Maintains visibility into schedules for internal clients through presentations and supports monthly reviews of AIT teams.
Minimum qualifications:
- Three years of experience in program/project management or project engineering in a related technical field
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience in negotiations, risk management, contract management, subcontract management, finance, and U.S. ITAR regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Team player.
- Proactive, dynamic, resourceful, and self-motivated.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and with external clients.
- Must be flexible and open to change
- Ability to communicate in French and English. (Contact with customers outside Quebec and head office managers in Ontario).
- Proficiency in project management tools
Special Considerations:
Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
