Overview
Your role
Lead the delivery of commissioning and related services for new building construction projects of varying types, sizes, and complexities.
Achieve project objectives outlined in Owner’s Project Requirements, Construction Contract Documents, LEED, or other building rating systems.
Support the commissioning team in generation of technical documents including commissioning plan, specifications to suite project requirement.
Direct and document commissioning and related testing activities.
Chair project commissioning meetings and provide technical guidance to the project stakeholders.
Conducting test studies on equipment and processes to assess compliance with requirements.
Analysis of test data and collection of samples, where required.
Evaluate the installation and functional performance of building systems to optimize efficiency.
Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot building systems during commissioning phases.
Provide recommendations on equipment/process operation/optimization.
Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary project teams.
Contribute to refining internal processes and documentation.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and secure new projects.
Provides general support to the CQV group to meet department goals and objectives.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
About you
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Three years of experience in commissioning for building system engineering.
Experience and/or understanding of bioprocess or pharmaceutical manufacturing systems and building systems is an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong attention to detail regarding documentation is a must.
Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite.
Must be mobile within the Calgary and BC Area.
Possess a valid Driver’s License
