Project Coordinator, eVinci Canada – Burlington, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid work arrangement available of 2 to 3 days per week in the office)
About the Opportunity
Westinghouse Electric Canada is a leading supplier of custom equipment, process systems and engineering consultant services for the Nuclear industry in Canada. The successful candidate will join an innovative team that supports Westinghouse’s mission to provide clean energy solutions.
The eVinci Project Coordinator will support the execution of the portfolio of eVinci project in Canada. This position will directly support the Project Managers in the execution of projects under the Program and report to the Program Manager for task prioritization. To successfully execute the coordinator role strong collaboration will be required with Project Managers along with key eVinci personnel to ensure appropriate engagement with partners. The successful individual must be able to support multiple projects and continuously monitor assigned deliverables and milestones with autonomy.
What will you do?
Your day to day:
- Responsible for tasks associated with supporting projects; includes full clerical activities such as Word, PowerPoints, Excel proficiency, and meeting support includes notes, tracking, organizing large meetings/conferences, set-up, and reporting.
- Maintains electronic project documentation, records, and project files in accordance with established quality assurance guidelines and requirements (e.g., utilizing electronic document management system)
- Collects, inputs, organizes, and manages data from various sources, which may include project managers, subject matter experts, and budgetary documentation
- Support and where necessary participate in scheduling within P6 including resource forecast demand and the SIOP process
- Coordinates and tracks various in-house trainings
- Provides direct support to the project management team and performs ad hoc analysis
- Develops and maintains project documentation and standards
- Effectively communicate relevant information to key stakeholders
- Engages in supplier relationship management (SRM) and implementation of supplier contracts. Examples include ensuring correct supplier set up in SAP and other enterprise systems and collecting feedback from stakeholders.
- Ensures uninterrupted and efficient flow of services/products by providing operational support as needed
- Occasional travel to company locations to interface with onsite staff
- Performs other related duties as assigned

What will you bring?
Who you are:
- College Diploma or University Degree in related discipline. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.
- 0 – 3+ years Nuclear experience
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Enthusiastic and engaged team member who is results oriented
- Highly organized and self motivated team member
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Supply Chain experience, understanding what is needed to procure materials and services for the industry as well as assessing vendor capabilities
- Project management experience
- SAP or other enterprise software experience
Preferred:
- PMP is an asset but not required.
- Experience with project schedule (P6 or Microsoft Project)
- Prior experience managing subcontractors from RFQ through to contract close out
- Project Cost accounting experience (exp.)
- Change Management exp.
- Risk management exp.
