AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Manager, Nuclear Communications.
In this role you will be responsible for creating integrated communications plans that help to drive the business strategies for our nuclear business, including the Canadian-developed CANDU® nuclear technology. Reporting to and working closely with the Vice-President, Global Nuclear Communications, who is the main business partner, you will provide strategic communications advice to the leadership team and work closely with Human Resources to enhance the union-company relationship.
You will build relationships and work closely with the global and regional heads of the Centres of Excellence of marketing communications, external communications, internal communications, and creative design – as well as their respective teams – to design and deliver measurable communications actions. This includes mapping stakeholders, setting the messaging, identifying profiling opportunities and defining a calendar of internal and external tactical activity such as speaking engagements, industry trade shows, internal roadshows and other leadership communications. You will also take a hands-on role in delivering some of this activity in collaboration with specialists in the broader Communications function. As part of our Global Communications & Marketing team, you will also be required to support global initiatives, and on occasion to help deliver communications outside of the businesses you directly support.

In this role you will:
- Consult and advise internal clients on communications strategy and activities.
- Create and manage the communications plans for the areas you support.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communications activities against benchmarks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients.
- Act as a link between the business units and the Centers of Excellence to produce internal and external communications tools.
- Contribute to the overarching action planning for the Nuclear sector.
- Research and write compelling content to be used across all communications channels including campaign material, reports, articles, speeches, case studies, social media and website.

Education and Experience
- Degree educated in marketing, business, or communications (or an equivalent level of experience)
- 10 years of experience in a related communications role
- Experience in the professional services/design and engineering/construction industry is preferred
