About Us
Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.
The Role
In this role you will:
- Assist with environmental inspections, surface and groundwater water sampling and sample preparation, as well as air quality monitoring
- Data entry and review
- Participate in special projects and other day-to-day activities
- Duties include a blend of field and office work, with the majority of time spent in the field
Required:
- You are currently enrolled in a science-based post-secondary education program
- Possess strong communication and computer skills
- You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco
- Work a rotational two week in/out schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
- Candidates enrolled and pursuing a diploma or degree in an environmental related field is considered an asset.
