What will you be doing!
- Assisting job leads with job initiation tasks (e.g., Risk Assessment input, attending meetings, etc.).
- Producing an acceptable output of work while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Preparing or reviewing all engineering planning and scheduling paperwork, estimating resource requirements, and monitoring compliance with schedule and budget.
- Performing field walk-downs to determine job scope.
- Identifying resources based on design grading and job scope.
- Attaining resources from applicable Section Leaders and confirming their availability.
- Preparing or reviewing the Design Planning Package and schedule estimate.
- Addressing review comments from Section Leaders, Project Leaders, and the Design Plan Review Team.
- Identifying Design Inputs and Requirements with the resources.
- Preparing design documentation required to support the development of Design and Engineering Plans.
- Supporting Engineering staff in applying the applicable Pressure Boundary Program requirements with the assistance of qualified staff.
- Addressing review comments from the Design Plan Review Team.
- Presenting written Design Plans to Line Management.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
What we are looking for:
- Education
- Successful completion of a college diploma in a related discipline.
- Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Very strong planning and organizational skills.
- Able to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Able to work effectively with others.
- Security Clearance Eligibility Required
- Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”
Working Conditions:
- Hours of work will be 40hours per week on a 4 day x 10 hour work schedule.
