Overview
AtkinsRéalis is hiring a hiring an experienced Construction Inspector to join our team in Toronto. The Construction Inspector will be based on an exciting major airport infrastructure project located in the West end of Toronto.
Your role
- Ensures that the contractor is taking the steps necessary to meet quality requirements.
- Monitors, observes, and evaluates that the construction work being performed is in general conformance with the Contract Documents
- Ensures that the contractor is taking the steps necessary to meet quality requirements.
- Prepares daily reports and provides updates to the Construction Manager accordingly
- Coach, mentor and support the career development of project staff
About you
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Construction Inspector or similar role
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in large complex projects.
- Minimum 3 years of on-site experience.
- Recognized qualification in project or construction management or relevant profession.
- Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders including contractors and other site personnel.
- Good understanding of reporting requirements and experience in providing management reports.
