About the role:
As an Electrical Engineering you will undertake all phases of the engineering design process for electrical systems, lighting, distributions systems for nuclear and non-nuclear clients.
You will report to the Manager, Operating Plants Electrical Engineering and be located at our Cambridge, Ontario, location. You will have a hybrid working arrangement of 2 to 3 days per week in the office.
Main Responsibilities:

Prepare drawings, designs, calculations, analyses following established codes, standards, drawings, or other client specifications

Attend site visits for assessment of the existing electrical systems and equipment and prepare the condition assessment reports.

Help with the creation and submission of electrical drawings, technical reports, memos, specifications and calculations.

Will also help prepare final construction documents and reports.

Design and drafting for preparing Electrical drawings under the direction from Project Engineer or Project Manager on multiple projects

Review drawings, calculations, specifications and other engineering documentation for compliance with contract requirements, good engineering practices, codes, and standards
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical), or Applied Science or its equivalent in a relevant subject

0 or more years of experience with typical electrical engineering responsibilities.

Any experience with power engineering, instrumentation and control, PLC/DCS type systems, NEC and NFPA is great to have but not a requirement.
