We’re looking for a Supplier Document Expeditor (1-year Contract with Benefits) to join our Cambridge, ON team. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring seamless document processing and communication between suppliers, Procurement, and internal teams within our Supply Chain function.
What You’ll Do
Supplier Coordination & Document Expediting
-
Expedite missing and delayed document submissions from suppliers to keep projects on track.

Maintain clear and proactive communication with suppliers to resolve documentation issues.

Ensure document submission deadlines are met and escalate concerns when necessary.
Internal Collaboration & Reporting
-
Work closely with Document Control to monitor and update document statuses.

Interface with various departments (Procurement, Quality, Engineering, etc.) to ensure smooth document flow.

Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting to provide Buyers and internal teams with up-to-date document tracking.
Compliance & Quality Assurance

Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, transmittal reports, non-conformances, and corrective actions.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance document processing and tracking efficiency.
Administrative & Safety Responsibilities

Set a positive example by maintaining a collaborative and professional work environment.

Provide feedback, ask questions when needed, and support knowledge-sharing with team members.
What You Bring
-
3+ years of document control experience in a manufacturing environment.
-
Strong background in records management with keen attention to detail.
-
Post-secondary education in Administration, Business, or a related field.
-
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.

Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and problem-solve efficiently.

Experience working within a high consequence industry such as aerospace, defense, oil & gas or nuclear is an asset.

The base salary range for this position in [[Ontario]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[60,000]] and $[[82,000]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
