Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Position and Responsibilities
Reporting to the warehouse supervisor you will be responsible for performing routine daily warehouse functions such as:
- Issuing materials from various warehouse facilities
- Responding to wicket traffic
- Incoming inspections and stocking
- Inventory cycle counts and data entry
- Loading and off-loading of all general freight
- Using a handheld device and reporting in Excel
- Collaborating to improve work processes
- Providing training and support to junior employees
- Other general warehouse duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- A minimum of five years of related work experience in an industrial warehouse environment
- Previous experience in various warehouse processes such as job kitting, cycle counting and MRP review
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
- Advanced computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel and an ERP system (SAP preferred)
- Forklift and loader operator certification
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using software and mobile technology to perform daily warehouse activities
- Must work a rotational work schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
- Experience working with SAP
- Previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods
