Project Resource Manager

The Project Support Manager will be responsible for supporting Directors and Managers in forecasting staffing needs, tracking resource utilization, and developing strategies to optimize resource allocation. This includes coordinating the hiring, development, and performance management of all Project Coordinators (PCs) and Student Project Coordinators in the Project Delivery organization.
This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
This role will be based in Mississauga, ON.
Your role within the team:
- Resource Management: Facilitate the hiring, development, and performance management of all Project Coordinators.
- Workforce Analysis: Analyze workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Forecasting: Analyze staffing forecasts with consideration to business needs and market trends.
- Resource Allocation: Create strategies to optimize resource allocation and ensure efficient use of human capital. Manage the Co-op Program for the Project Delivery organization.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports and dashboards on workforce metrics using Power BI, including turnover rates, hiring trends, and employee productivity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, recruitment, and department managers to understand staffing requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of resource management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and company policies. Maintain PC job titles, job descriptions, and progression frameworks across the OA, TT, and SE streams, ensuring consistency, alignment with business needs, and compliance with union and non-union standards where applicable.

- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
