We are seeking a Recruiter to support our growing team in Calgary, Alberta.

Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring top-tier talent across PTAG’s service lines.
- Collaborate with project managers and department leaders to understand resourcing needs, project timelines, and technical requirements.
- Maintain a proactive talent pipeline for current and future projects.
- Support mobilization efforts, ensuring smooth transitions for employees traveling to or relocating for project sites across North America and internationally.
- Assist with immigration and compliance processes, including work permits and visas for employees working in Canada and the USA.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates in EPC, construction, and engineering sectors through networking, job boards, and industry events.
- Partner closely with hiring managers, HR, and project teams to deliver timely recruitment solutions.
- Collaborate with Marketing to promote PTAG’s employer brand across social media and industry events.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, source effectiveness) and recommend process improvements.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment vendors as needed to supplement internal sourcing.
Qualifications / Requirements
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- 4–6 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within EPC, construction, or engineering consulting sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR or recruitment certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIR) considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of project-based resourcing and familiarity with large-scale infrastructure, mining/minerals, oil & gas, power, or nuclear project environments.
- Experience with staff mobilization, immigration, and compliance processes in Canada and/or the USA.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and online recruitment platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both stakeholders and candidates.
- Strong analytical ability to assess recruitment data and identify trends.
- Professional presence and ability to represent PTAG at career fairs, networking sessions, and industry events.
