Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future. The Role
As a member of the Technical Services department, you will report to the manager, Project Services and be responsible for developing and delivering high quality training programs and resources. You will create engaging learning content, technical documentation, and support materials to enhance employee knowledge and performance. This role facilitates process improvement initiatives and provides training to ensure consistent understanding and application of technical standards and procedures.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with process owners to identify training needs and define learning objectives.
- Develop end-to-end training strategies aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Design and produce training materials, including guides, manuals, e-learning modules, and quick-reference tools.
- Ensure all content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with knowledge management standards.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, deliver training content and manage learning platforms.
- Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to improve training effectiveness.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
- Five to eight years of experience working in adult education and content development;
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.
Recommended:
- Strong background in knowledge management, instructional design, and training development;
- Experience creating learning content and implementing training programs in complex environments;
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills; ability to engage diverse audiences;
- Proficiency in learning management systems and digital content creation tools;
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
