We’re on the hunt for a motivated and talented Engineering Student in our Test department at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office. This is a 4 month mandate (with a possibility of 8 months) starting in May 2026.
Role:
The intern will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop state-of-the-art test stations to automate the production of geostationary or constellation antennas. You will be part of a specialized test team to ensure that once in orbit, antenna performance meets customer requirements and delivers the communications service required for the mission.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with design team
- Contribute to analysis of test requirements
- Contribute to Definition of test methods and techniques
- Contribute to Definition of test and test data processing resources
- Contribute to Drafting of test plans, procedures and reports
- Contribute to Development of software applications, database and automatic test and measurement procedures
- Contribute to Coding and validation of test sequences
- Test follow-up and operations support according to required specialization:
- RF in PIM, Nearfield or Compact Test Range
- RF in Active Electronics, Burn-In
- Power in Electronic Power Converters
- Metrology in flight unit alignment
- Mechanics for thermal testing
- Contribute to Planning and coordination of test activities and team of technicians.
Minimum Qualifications required :
- Completed First year of Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Software or Physics Engineering
- The candidate must have a background in Electrical, Computer Science, Software or Physics Engineering with a strong foundation in electromagnetics or microwaves, as well as good programming skills.
- Motivated individual with a sense of initiative, good team coordination skills and a desire to improve test techniques
