Position and Responsibilities
As a member of the SHEQ team, you are responsible for the collection of environmental samples and radiological monitoring to ensure regulatory obligations are met. The execution of these tasks involves working outdoors in all seasons, climbing tall stacks and working inside chemical processing plants. You will perform analysis of the collected samples.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- Post-secondary diploma in environmental, biotechnology, chemical technician or technologist.
- Three years experience in environmental, industrial hygiene or radiation sampling and analysis procedures is preferred
- Ability to work independently in areas of environmental sampling, industrial hygiene and radiation monitoring.
- Experience in interpretation of sample and monitoring data and communicating required actions to facility employees.
- Valid class G drivers license is required.
