Position and Responsibilities
Responsible for performing a wide range of duties within the analytical, environment and radiation protection services within the analytical services department. Responsibilities include routine and non-routine analysis on received, processed, and exiting material; method development and procedure/equipment/instrumentation troubleshooting; maintenance, calibration, and commissioning of instruments; and collection, monitoring and sample preparation within designated parameters. You will be required to know the significant environmental aspects and impacts associated with the position and how to perform the job to minimize those impacts.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- Chemical Technologist Diploma
- Experience in a technical capacity
- Ability to work within established procedures and safe work practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
