Job Requirements:
- MANDATORY REQUIREMENT - MUST BE ABLE TO proficiently process CMM programming and operation with both MCOSMOS and MiCAT Planner.
- Familiarity with Keyence Vision Systems and High QA software system is an asset
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and use of precision measuring instruments in completion of work tasks.
- Completes mechanical inspections utilizing a variety of measuring equipment.
- Provides accurate calibration of equipment including with the use of calibration software (Gagetrak).
- Prepares inspection reports and issues final release of documents and parts.
- Utilizes Lean Principles with a Continuous Improvement mindset in daily duties.
- Presents a well-organized, systems thinking approach.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean tidy and organized work area.
- Follows safe work practices at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- DAYS, NIGHTS, &/or 4-WEEK SHIFT ROTATIONS available (to be confirmed at interview).
This vacant role requires fluency in English (read, write and speak) with 3-5 years Precision Machining Shop experience and 5yrs current work history with Quality Management System (ISO, AS9100, N299).
MUST RESIDE IN PROVINCE OF ONTARIO and have reliable personal transportation (no public transportation available).
Early Shift (7:00am) and Late Shift (4:15pm) start times available.
