Job Requirements:
- Fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Programmer proficient in Gibbs programming system. Fusion 360 is an asset.
- Keen desire to use technology to improve production efficiencies.
- Exceptionally capable in programming multi-turret Mill/Turn CNC Lathes.
- Skilled in the creation of operational sketches and set-up sheets.
- Thorough understanding for interpreting engineering drawings, cutting tool selection and set up.
- Proficient trouble shooting abilities for work with a wide variety of materials.
- Knowledgeable in the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Read and follow specifications within engineering drawings.
- Log all work timelines and tasks in Epicor.
- Must be quality oriented with an extreme attention to detail.
- Maintain positive working relationships when interacting with other plant personnel.
- Adhere to and maintain safe work practices, including WHMIS requirements.
- Adept at reading/understanding production sheets for completion of accurate parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have reliable personal transportation (no public transportation available).
This vacant role requires fluency in English (read, write and speak) with 3-5 years Precision Machining Shop Programming experience.
