Senior Reliability Technologist

Responsibilities include:
· Lead and grow Orano Canada’s reliability centered maintenance program for the McClean Lake Operation
· Identify opportunities to use technology to reduce workload and/or improve accuracy/quality
· Administer, monitor and expand site lubrication, vibration and ultrasound condition monitoring programs
· Develop and implement a priority-based maintenance strategy and PM/PdM plans for critical assets
· Manage the loss elimination process including “Bad Actor” Asset list
· Conduct equipment failure analysis & determine root cause(s)
· Implement solutions to eliminate bad actor assets and monitor for improved performance
· Maintain the equipment criticality index
· Update bill of materials, PM and PdM plans and monitor for effectiveness
· Track equipment maintenance costs and analyze data as part of a continual improvement process
· Mentor PdM technologists and train to reliability processes
· Embrace and support Operational Excellence efforts and OE Culture
· Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
· Graduate of a recognized technology program or equivalent qualifications and experience
- Consideration will be given to candidates with a Journeyperson Trades ticket
· 8+ years of previous industrial or maintenance experience
· Preference given to those with Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) designation (or equivalent)
· Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Software such as SAP is an asset
· A solid background with industrial or process equipment maintenance and trouble shooting
· Experience facilitating FMEA’s is considered an asset
· Experience developing proactive maintenance strategies
· Proficient using the MS Office Suite of programs
· Good written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
· Able to develop positive working relationships and work closely and effectively with all team members
Work Location & Schedule:
· McClean Lake
· 14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule
· Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required
Salary Range:
$116,200 – $144,600
Compensation to be determined based on the selected candidate’s level of skill, education, and experience, and may vary within, the posted salary range.

Fly Day- This position will fly in and fly out on Wednesday
Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.
As a condition of employment the successful candidate must complete Orano’s pre-employment checks including education verification and employment reference checks.
Drug (including marijuana) and alcohol substance testing is a requirement for all Safety Sensitive positions. Applicants who have recently used marijuana recreationally may not pass a substance test as marijuana can remain in the user’s system for as many as 30 days after use.
