Repair and Clean
We are currently seeking a Repair and Clean Person to support our Peterborough team.
Responsibilities:
- This job involves cleaning and maintaining the facility using various manual and power equipment.
- Responsible for minor preventative maintenance.
- Look after the storage and cleaning of waste and hazardous materials used by manufacturing.
- Will be required to work within a team environment to ensure that the business is in compliance with all policies, procedures, regulations and legislation.
- Will be required to work with ladders and other equipment at various heights to replace the filters from the dust collection.
- Responsible for thorough cleans on large vacuum ovens.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 Technical graduate
- Valid class ‘G’ driver’s license
- Possess/successfully obtain forklift operator license and Level 1 crane operator license > 15 tons
- Possess/successfully obtain Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate
- Demonstrated team player
- Basic computer skills to include Microsoft office
Selected applicants will be tested and interviewed.
The base hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $30.91 - $34.34 per hour. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
