About Us
Rabbit Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, produced over 200 million pounds of uranium concentrate from 1975 through 2016 and is currently in a safe state of care and maintenance. The uranium mined and milled at Rabbit Lake has been used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.
The Role
Rabbit Lake is seeking an independent, capable professional to lead and coordinate the site’s Planning and Warehouse departments, where they will work to ensure that maintenance activities and warehouse materials are efficiently and effectively applied to support reliable care and maintenance operations.
Additionally, this role will support maintenance contractor management processes, planning and activities on site. This may involve small-to-medium size projects and externally supported maintenance activities, and promoting best practices in preventative maintenance.
In this role, you will:
- Support activities of the maintenance team through effective planning and materials management to ensure asset availability and reliability
- Oversee material and inventory processes, including the shipping and handling of dangerous goods
- Act as site lead for contractor management and procurement processes
- Provide supervision and practical, insightful direction to Planning and Warehouse staff.
Required:
- Certificate or diploma in a Maintenance-related discipline
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
- Excellent organizational and oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Proficiency with relevant Microsoft Office and SAP (S/4) applications
Recommended:
- Maintenance Management Professional/CMRP certification
- Lean Green Belt certification

schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in
Saskatchewan.
