What will you be doing!
- Developing a detailed understanding of client business processes and applicable requirements.
- Identifying gaps and improvement opportunities, designing solutions, and obtaining approval for changes to the document and records repository’s information architecture and metadata.
- Implementing information architecture and records management configuration changes.
- Developing and delivering education programs for information management processes and tools to ensure users understand Information Management requirements and processes and maintain compliance.
- Overseeing the documents and records repository’s information architecture and metadata, implementing changes as required by the evolution of the business and/or requirements.
- Providing functional technical support to the company’s document and records repository, troubleshooting user access, workflow, and other system usability issues.
- Managing user access to the records repository, setting up and modifying user permissions and release codes throughout the EDRMS.
- Monitoring trends, identifying challenges, analyzing and solving problems using standard policies, procedures, modifications of standard procedures, or previously developed methods.
- Developing internal documentation for information management and assisting in developing company-wide documentation to ensure compliance with information management requirements.
- Providing estimates for, planning, and running small Information Management projects.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
What we are looking for:
- Education
- Certification Information/ Records Management/ business analysis/ process management, or demonstrated equivalent acquired through working experience.
- Document Control Certification is an asset.
- Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of cumulative practical experience in Records and Information Management.
- Minimum of 2 years working knowledge of Open Text Content Suite or comparable EDRMS technology.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated skills in process mapping, developing taxonomies and analysis of Information Management processes.
- Security Clearance Eligibility Required
- Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”
Working Conditions:
- They may be required to move and lift boxes of hardcopy records (up to 40 lbs.).
- Mental and visual concentration is required for analyzing client requirements, troubleshooting, solving technical problems, writing reports and proofreading materials, updating user access accounts, and managing user profiles.
