We are currently recruiting for a Quality Records Coordinator, 1-year contract at our facility in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.
The Quality Records Coordinator is responsible for leading day-to-day activities for section, ensure that customer standards have been met as well as ensure that code is complied with.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
History Dockets
- Ensure accuracy of reports.
- Prepare history dockets for all nuclear/thermal projects.
- Coordinate and ensure that all drawings, materials, and reports are part of the history docket.
- Ensure that all work orders and Non-conformance Reports are closed before shipment as well as coordinating the shipping of history dockets.
Review Work Orders & Inspection Forms
- Review all documents for completeness and accuracy, ensuring the customer has signed off and the authorized inspection is completed.
- Close out work orders, nonconformance reports, reworks, PWHT and condition reports while ensuring that document retention is accurate.
Record Retention
- Scanning (PDF), authenticating, OCR and save all files electronically in electronic folders. Paper copies of documentation is filed in the Quality Records Vault till the Project is complete
Issue Stamps & Data Reports
- Provide nameplate and stamping information to the shop.
- Issue Manufacturing Data Reports and register the report with the National Board.
- Maintain the log of current Quality Control Inspectors for Cambridge and Melville, as well as issuing code stamps and maintaining log.
Vendor Documents
- Review vendor documentation to ensure accuracy of records and input and maintain the information in database.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- 3 years’ experience
- Knowledge of BWXT departmental policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing sequence and product experience in a manufacturing environment
- College Diploma in Quality Engineering an asset
- Strong computer and communication skills
The base salary range for this position in [[Ontario]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[48,000]] and $[[66,000]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
