McArthur River, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. The uranium produced at McArthur River is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Position and Responsibilities
Reporting to the supervisor, process, your role will focus on ensuring the safe, effective and efficient operation of all process areas.
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for operating circuits as per outlined procedures and guidelines
- Be responsible for identifying, documenting and reporting any operational and maintenance concerns in order to support continual improvement throughout the operation
- Work as part of a team who look out for one another and collaborate to improve performance
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- One year of mill operation work experience and industrial water treatment experience, preference given to those with uranium mill experience
- Certified in Water Treatment Plant
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Will be required to work both on surface and underground
Assets:
- Potable water treatment experience
- Level 1 and 2 potable water treatment and Level 1 wastewater treatment certification
