AtkinsRéalis Inc., in collaboration with its partners, is proud to have been awarded the project for the extension of the #BlueLine of the Montréal metro, valued at over $7.6 billion.
This extension will span approximately 6.2 km of tunnel and include the addition of five (5) stations east of the current Saint-Michel station: Pie-IX, Viau, Lacordaire, Langelier, and Anjou (terminus).
We are currently seeking a Health and Safety Technician.
- Work schedule: 40 hours per week (day shift)
- Shift start time: 6:00 AM
- On-site presence required
Your role
- Lead the general contractor's daily onboarding sessions at 7:00 AM;
- Plan and deliver mandatory training sessions required by the general contractor, in accordance with the General Contractor's Prevention Program;
- Upon request from the HSE Section Chief and based on project needs, prepare training materials and deliver sessions to the project office team or contractors;
- Complete and manage the PLB HSE prevention service database;
- Compile and distribute daily reports from PLB CoSS and prepare other reports such as site committee minutes, trailer inspections, safety breaks, etc.;
- Produce monthly statistical reports and HSE dashboards related to contractor performance evaluations;
- Support Coordinators in incident investigations and event report preparation;
- Accompany Coordinators during scheduled inspection visits with contractors;
- In coordination with CoSS, ensure fire safety equipment (e.g., extinguishers) is inspected monthly and maintain a tracking log;
- Manage work permits issued to contractors;
- Manage PPE and other equipment for the PLB HSE prevention service;
- Perform any other related tasks.
About you
- Any training and/or experience in HSE will be considered;
- CoSS certification is not required;
- Must hold an ASP Construction card;
- Experience and ability to deliver training sessions;
- Ability to handle documentation and perform administrative tasks;
- Strong knowledge of office software, including database tools (e.g., Microsoft Access);
