The Role
Cameco’s supply chain management (SCM) department is looking for a seasoned professional to provide leadership and best practice in communications, reporting, analytics, ongoing support, and master data. In this role you will provide departmental and year-end reporting, liaise with SCM functional areas regarding improvement initiatives related to digitalization using change management to ensure changes are successfully executed, communicated and integrated within existing processes. This role will partake in industry benchmarking to promote continual improvement and innovation within SCM to meet Cameco’s strategic corporate objectives.
In this role, you will:
- support and maintain SAP S/4 and SAP components including Outline Agreements and Material Masters.
- take ownership of supply chain documentation, reporting, and tools including their development and continuous improvement.
- utilize e-procurement platforms, online catalogue systems, and SAP integration with digital tools.
- enable integration and analysis using tools such as SAP Signavio, Robotic Process Automations, and GIB to enhance supply chain system performance.
- ensure supply chain compliance by developing and maintaining governance frameworks, standardized processes, and robust internal controls.
- support analytics initiatives including departmental KPI tracking and periodic, monthly, and annual performance reporting by utilizing infographics and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
- work with functional areas to identify and document gaps in supply chain process documentation to improve system clarity, consistency, and audit readiness.
- support supply chain risk management and quality management activities by contributing to system-level controls, data integrity efforts, and compliance monitoring.
- collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance ERP system capabilities and ensure alignment with governance standards.
- develop and maintain supply chain performance dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Tableau to support strategic planning and operational excellence.
- provide expertise in supply chain data governance and master data management.
Required:
- a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or in a related field;
- three to five years of supply chain experience;
- equivalent combination of education and work experience considered; and
- experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
Recommended:
- system experience, implementation and support of SharePoint, SAP S/4, SAP Fieldglass, SAP Ariba, Master Data Governance, OCI Catalogs, Outline Agreements, ISN and/or Contractor Management software;
- proficiency in Power BI or analytics platforms and reporting tools for developing strategic dashboards and actionable visual analytics;
- strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management in supply chain operations; and
- certification in Lean Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, SCMP, PMP, CPIM or Change Management.

Salary Range: $82,000 - $103,000
